Sheraton Saigon Hotel & Towers, Ho Chi Minh City, proudly announces the appointment of its new Executive Chef, Ms. Lorraine Sinclair
Chef Lorraine joins the Hotel with more than 25 years of global experience, having worked with international hotel brands across Europe, Asia and the Middle East. Prior to her arrival in Vietnam, she has held Executive Chef positions in Dubai, Istanbul, Hong Kong and Seoul and experience in these different countries and continents has helped Chef Lorraine to diversify her culinary portfolio and understand cultures from a food point of view. While in Hong Kong, two restaurants under Chef Lorraine’s direction were awarded Michelin Stars, she was nominated as a “Les Toques Blanches” Board Member and she published a charity cooking book. In Dubai, Chef Lorraine received the BBC Good Food award for Best Brunch 2013, was awarded Best Steak House 2013 by Time Out, and placed 3rd in Best Restaurants in Dubai 2013 by Esquire. Chef Lorraine was also recognized as one of the Top 100 persons in United Arab Emirates by Ahlan Magazine.
In her role as Executive Chef at the Sheraton Saigon Hotel & Towers, Chef Lorraine will be in charge of all culinary aspects of food and beverage offerings at the Hotel’s eight food and beverage venues as well as In Room Dining and Catering Services. With her extensive background in catering and culinary operations, Chef Lorraine looks forward to refreshing the hotel’s food and beverage activities by introducing creative new ideas, menus and flavors.

This hotel is the best Sheraton I have had the pleasure of staying in. Location is excellent and the rooms are comfortable, clean and lots of power sockets for the electronic stuff we all seem unable to travel without these days. Bed super comfortable, as is normal for Starwood hotels. All staff we came in contact with were friendly and efficient and the concierge team knowledgeable, with excellent English. We enjoyed the privilege of Club access, where comfort and F&B was of a very high standard akin to an airline First Class lounge.
